Senior Business Development Manager – Data Centers Norway
1 Position Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion across the European data center landscape. You will be the primary driver for new logo acquisition and revenue growth within Norwegian markets.
This is a high-impact, results-oriented role where you will be directly responsible for identifying multi-megawatt opportunities, building a robust colocation pipeline, and closing complex deals. You aren't just managing accounts; you are a market-maker who thrives on winning new business and hitting aggressive sales targets.
2 Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Lead Generation: Proactively identify and capture new business opportunities in Norway. You will own the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to contract execution.
Targeted Client Acquisition: Identify, qualify, and secure new business from global and regional Colocation Service Providers requiring strategic wholesale capacity or expansion sites. Identify and win contracts with NCPs, providing the high-density power and specialized infrastructure required for their GPU-accelerated workloads
Strategic Relationship Management: Develop and maintain C-suite and senior-level relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the data center ecosystem.
Revenue Accountability: Take full ownership of specific sales KPIs and annual revenue targets. You will be responsible for consistent quarter-over-quarter growth.
Solution Selling: Collaborate with technical and operations teams to craft bespoke colocation and connectivity solutions that meet complex client requirements.
Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of market trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes in the European power and land landscape to position our services effectively.
3 Required Qualifications & Experience
Industry Expertise: Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, with a significant portion dedicated to the Data Center, Colocation, or Hyperscaler sectors.
Market Knowledge: A strong network in Norway is highly desirable.
Established Network: A proven "Rolodex" of active contacts and historical relationships with major wholesale and retail colocation buyers.
Proven Track Record: A "hunter" mentality with a verifiable history of meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar sales quotas and successfully closing large-scale data center contracts.
Communication: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills in English. proficiency in Norwegian required.
Mobility: Willingness to travel to meet clients and visit sites across Europe.
